"Make Your Poem" by Sylvie Blocher, Centre cardiologique du Nord, Saint-Denis
"Make Your Poem" is a collaborative and imaginative work by Sylvie Blocher commissioned by a group of caregivers from the CCN, accompanied by individuals working in audiovisual production. The objective was to create an artwork that contributes to a sensitive dialogue among staff, patients, and visitors in a healthcare setting, specifically a hospital. By placing this artwork in a space where so many languages, cultures, and social categories intersect, it affirms that the CCN is a public space where care is provided to others, and where a poetic vitality of words can flourish.
This digital installation, conceived as a "public artistic space," immediately places individuals at the center of a system that questions the freedom of words, as well as the responsibility they entail in their transition from the personal to the collective. By posting words and phrases and testing their narrative power in large format on a lit screen, everyone can share in a consciousness of self and others. For 5 years, this screen will be attached to the building's architecture, in a crossroads location. Operated via a keyboard or a mobile phone, the shared phrases will be projected in a crossroads location before disappearing, and then preserved in a digital archive, which will remain the tangible material of this experience.

With the support of the Fondation de France, the Conseil départemental de la Seine-Saint-Denis, and the Fundación Daniel y Nina Carasso. It comes to life thanks to Marc Benacerraf, a cardiologist, and the association Coeurs Dionysiens CCN.
This project took the time it needed, a total of ten years, and it has finally come to fruition, which is wonderful. After being proposed in Saint-Ouen at Commune Image and at the Théâtre d'Aubervilliers, we held high the hearts with the proposal from the artist Sylvie Blocher, never giving up together with Natascha Delmon Casanova, Léa Lambert, Cédric Delannoy, and Sandrine Morvan.
Mari Linnman fought hard to support, coordinate, and deliver this long-awaited project.

Le jeudi 27 juin 2024 à 19h00 nous avons inauguré l’œuvre « Fais ton poème » de l’artiste Sylvie Blocher au Centre cardiologique du Nord

« Fais ton poème » est une œuvre contributive et rêveuse qui a été commandée par un groupe de soignant·es du CCN, accompagné de personnes travaillant dans l’audiovisuel.L’objectif a été de créer une œuvre d’art contribuant à un dialogue sensible entre les personnels, patient·es et visiteur·euses dans un espace de soin, un hôpital. Installer cette œuvre dans ce lieu où se côtoient tant de langues, de cultures, de catégories sociales, c’est affirmer que le CCN est un espace public où l’on prend soin des autres, et où une vitalité poétique des mots peut se déployer.Installation numérique pensée comme « un espace public artistique », l’œuvre met d’emblée les personnes au centre d’un dispositif qui interroge la liberté des mots, mais aussi la responsabilité qu’ils impliquent dans leur passage de l’intime au collectif. En y postant des mots, des phrases et en testant leurs pouvoirs narratifs en grand format sur un écran lumineux, chacun et chacune pourra partager dans une conscience de soi et des autres. Pendant 5 ans, cet écran sera accroché à l’architecture même du bâtiment, dans un lieu de croisement. Actionné via un clavier ou un téléphone portable, les phrases offertes seront projetées dans un lieu de croisement avant de disparaître, puis conservées dans une archive numérique qui restera la matière sensible de cette expérience.

Ce projet aura mis le temps dont il avait besoin, soit dix années, il voit finalement le jour et c'est magnifique. Après avoir été proposé à Saint-Ouen à Commune Image, au Théâtre d'Aubervilliers, nous avons porté haut les coeurs la proposition de l'artiste Sylvie Blocher sans rien lâcher avec Natascha Delmon Casanova, Léa Lambert, Cédric Delannoy, Sandrine Morvan and myself.
Mari Linnman a été une vraie combatante pour soutenir, coordonner et délivrer ce projet tant attendu.
